WLB provide Coronavirus business support helpline

West London Business are providing a support helpline to signpost businesses to information about help available to them during the virus crisis.

A new website with a searchable knowledge base is backed up by volunteer business support advisors. WLB monitors the ‘Ask a question’ forum on the website 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, and responds, while also making outbound calls to certain businesses. Business Support Volunteer team are initially reaching out to food production/distribution businesses in West London outside Park Royal as a priority, while colleagues at the Old Oak & Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) are calling out to all Park Royal businesses.

Other volunteers are taking inbound calls on the helpline number – 020 8607 2500.

The campaign has been designed to provide West London business leaders with signposting to information as the crisis continues to unfold, and to communicate with businesses in West London, to ensure information is provided to assist businesses to both understand and be able to access, support from government in connection with COVID-19 financing arrangements – and other concerns they may have arising from business disruption due to the pandemic. It is updated daily.
