The development proposes 170 residential units, a fitness suite, retail outlets, a café/restaurant, offices and a public house together with a basement car and cycle park, provision of a pontoon and use of two arches under Kew Bridge for a boat club.
The scheme would involve the demolition of a pub, and the removal of six trees from a site at the junction of Kew Bridge and Kew Bridge Road. Kew Bridge House, which used to occupy the site, was demolished twenty years ago.
Various planning permissions have been granted for the site, icluding one with an Assael Architects design. All are now expired.
West London Business urged its members to support the proposals before the deadline for comments closed on July 18. A decision is expected later in the year.
