After a competitive selection process, the judging panel for the West London Business Awards has revealed the shortlist for the 2018 awards.
Appearing on the shortlist are lookwestlondon readers Westfield, Willmotts, Kier Construction, and the Central Research Laboratory.
The Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of organisations and individuals across three themes: sector leadership; sustainable and responsible business; and economic growth. The winners in each category, as well as the overall West London Company of the Year 2018, will be announced at a ceremony and dinner on Thursday 1 February at Wembley Stadium hosted by Baroness Tanni Gray-Thompson.
Now in their fifth year these are the only business awards for the whole West London sub-region. They celebrate business excellence, and showcase the innovation and entrepreneurial vibrancy of West London’s remarkable business community.
Andrew Dakers, CEO of West London Business said: “We have again received a good number of entries this year, despite tougher entry criteria, making this the hardest year yet in which to secure a place on the final shortlist of the West London Business Awards. Our shortlist provides a fantastic window on the excellence that continues to drive the West London’s economy forward, as well as the exciting innovations coming through. The awards night at Wembley will provide a fitting platform to recognise the success of all these businesses.”
