The West London Alliance has been awarded £50,000 to further develop it’s bid to the Government’s One Public Estate and Land Release Fund.
The money will fund the bid for a programme that would aim to bring forward publicly owned land for new homes and jobs. It would also aim to create more integrated, customer focused services to reduce running costs and generate capital receipts.
The proposed sites are over 50 hectares in total. WLA say that bringing forward their development will create over 5000 new homes, at least five new bases for the delivery of co-located public services and almost 5000 jobs.
