Wifi tube stations named

Passengers will soon be able to connect to the internet at Tube stations across the Capital.

London Underground working with Virgin Media have said that Wembley Central and Wembley Park are among the first stations to offer Wifi connectivity, for free, to passengers this sumer, with the service on track for up to 120 stations connected by end of 2012

Around 80 stations across London will offer the service by the end of July, with Hammersmith (District/Piccadilly), Heathrow T1-3, and Heathrow T4 the other West London stations involved.

This will be a useful step for business, and will be delivered at no additional cost to passenger or taxpayer, but will only be available to passengers in stations, there will be no service on trains in tunnels.
