White City Place launches

Stanhope have launched a new office district as part of their White City redevelopment project.

The district – White City Place – aims to attract creative firms. It is being developed by Stanhope, and its funding partners Mitsui Fudosan and AIMCo. It will provide one million sq ft of office space north of the Television Centre.

The BBC has pre-let 400,000 sq ft in three buildings, the Broadcast Centre, Energy Centre and Lighthouse buildings.

Three more Allies and Morrison designed buildings – The MediaWorks, Garden House, and The WestWorks – will providea further 600,000 sq ft of office space.

White City Place will also include restaurants and bars along a central avenue.
