Westfield submit new plans

Westfield London - proposed aerial view 2013Westfield have submitted amended plans for their development of the site to the north of their existing shopping centre in Shepherds Bush.

They have outline planning permission for a £1 billion mixed-use development adjacent to the existing centre, with up to 1,522 homes, new leisure facilities and new shops, including a new, flagship department store.

Now they have submitted new outline plans for 1,347 residential units, the shopping space, cafe/restaurant use and office space, along with cultural and leisure activities, new pedestrian routes, parking spaces, cycle parking and new open spaces.

Recently they announced John Lewis would anchor the retail element.
