Westfield London has signed 15 more retailers. The centre has also chalked up 20 million visitors since opening last October.

Westfield’s The Village, has signed Jimmy Choo, Red Valentino, M. Missoni, Ballantyne and James Lakeland. GymBox will open a 19,650 sq ft gym in early 2010 and Vue has confirmed its cinema complex will be opening in February 2010. It has also signed new restaurants and bars including¬†Malaysian restaurant Jom Makan and Geronimo Inns. Within the main centre it has signed Pandora, Virgin Media, Ann Summers, CWF, Andrew James Shoe Repairs, Chiltern Flowers, S Coin, Snog, Magnolia and BT.

A number of retailers have also chosen second stores in the centre including The White Company who will be opening a Little White Company store in the Kids Zone later this year. Westfield London has reached its 20 millionth visitor inside its first year of operation, and now expects to hit 22 million visitors for the first full year.

The Vue Cinema opening is important, especially to the night-time economy. Around half the restaurants originally opened at the Southern end of the centre have closed. The cinema will provide much-needed evening footfall for the new ones, and those that remain.
