Westfield reaches 10m visitor mark

Jan 2009 084 Westfield London welcomed its 10 millionth visitor last weekend, after just five months open.

Westfield, the Australian owner of the shopping centre, introduced “Two Hours To Play” at the centre last week as part of celebrations to mark the centre’s first Easter. From April for three months shoppers can benefit from two hours free parking any time, any day, in the centre’s dedicated 4,500 space car park as well as enjoy a range of events being hosted at the centre.

The news comes shortly after Westfield announced it had signed five more retailers to the centre.
