Westfield London’s White City centre is now 96% let, and building an impressive portfolio of luxury brands.
Westfield has secured several more lettings for the luxury ‘Village’ and confirms it will have the section open in time for the centre’s official opening on 30 October. The latest big name signings are Prada, Gucci, Chanel, De Beers and Christian Dior. Westfield has now has more than a dozen luxury retailers.
Gucci has taken 3,000 sq ft, and Christian Dior has taken 2,600 sq ft. Both have begun their fit outs. They join Tiffany & Co, Louis Vuitton, Mulberry, Prada, Miu Miu, Mont Blanc, Chanel, De Beers, David Morris and Valentino.
Michael Gutman, Westfield’s managing director, UK and Europe, said: ‘We are particularly pleased with the excellent take-up of space given the more difficult leasing environment. Being 96% leased 10 weeks out from opening to an excellent line-up of British and international brands is a great achievement by our team.’
