Westfield London has announced plans for a £6m extension.
In a recent statement, Westfield says the Shepherd’s Bush centre performed “exceptionally well” in 2010, its second year of operation, with total sales in 2010 of £870 million, a rise of almost a quarter on 2009.
“Demand for space continues to be strong and we are now planning Westfield London’s next stage of development and expansion, ” said Managing Director Steven Lowy. The company is reported to be talking to John Lewis about a major space in the new extension.
A planning application is expected later this year.
