New Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has appointed two West London MPs to key posts in his Shadow Cabinet.
John McDonnell, MP for Hayes and Harlington, becomes Shadow Chancellor, while Seema Malhotra, MP for Feltham and Heston, becomes Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
McDonnell co-ordinated Corbyn’s election campaign. He has been a vocal opponent to expansion at Heathrow, while Malhotra has been seen to be supportive.
Andrew Dakers, CEO of West London Business said: “Congratulations to our West London MPs on their senior appointments in the Shadow Cabinet”.
