Brent River Park, and Little Wormwood Scrubs have won through to the list of ten parks who will receive cash from Boris’ ‘Help a London Park’ scheme.
The parks were selected from a longlist of 47 all over London (10 in West London) by public vote – people visited a website to vote for their favourite park.
Brent River Park, in Ealing, and Little Wormwood Scrubs in Hammersmith & Fulham will now each receive a slice of the £6m funding for a makeover. Both are also in with a chance of scooping a £2m bonus, which will go to one of the final ten parks.
