Inside Housing has named its Top 50 Affordable Housing Developments for 2012, with West London represented by schemes in South Kilburn, Harrow and Feltham.
The award scheme considered schemes from all over the country, looking at their funding, land sourcing, planning & community involvement, design, sustainability, and the local effect on employment.
The West London schemes in the Top 50 list are Catalyst Housing’s The Greenway, in Feltham; London & Quadrant’s Watling Place, in South Kilburn (pictured top); Shepherds Bush Housing Group’s Dawes Road, in Fulham; Wandsworth Council’s Rollo estate; and Origin Housing’s Boxtree Lane, in Harrow.
All projects had to have have been completed in 2012, for more than 10 homes and included an affordable or social housing element.
