West London Free School announces primary plans

The West London Free School plans to open a new primary school next year on the present temporary site of its secondary school, which opened in 2011.

They plan to create a two-form entry primary on the current Cambridge Grove site after the secondary school moves to its new home in Palingswick House in 2013.   The school aims to offer a ‘classical liberal education’ with a strong focus on music, art, drama and sport, and is headed up by Toby Young.

The plans are being supported by Hammersmith and Fulham council, and will be submitted to the government in February, reports the Fulham Chronicle.  A decision is expected by June this year.
