The former West London County Court in North End Road, Fulham, will now become flats.
Plans from the Victoria Square Property Company have been approved for the grade II listed building, which has been empty for five years and is on English Heritage’s ‘at risk’ register of vulnerable, important sites.
Each of the two courtrooms will become a two-bedroom apartment, in the process restoring most of the original features, such as fireplaces, doors and parquet floors, stripping back the more recent additions sucha s false ceilings.
The scheme also includes seven further flats. See the Hammersmith Chronicle coverage.
