Wembley Park Market has launched an online delivery service to support its independent traders and merchants.
The 4,000 sq ft market in Wembley is offering fresh produce boxes in collaboration with New Covent Garden Market and Bread Ahead, an artisan bakery in Wembley Park.
The market, which opened last spring, launched the online delivery service in under a week in response to the limited availability of groceries in the area. Wembley Park Market’s landlord Quintain praised its tenants for working to adapt their business models and serve the community.
Matt Slade, retail director at Quintain, said: “It’s great to see our tenants working together and adapting their business models so quickly to respond to the current crisis.”
