The London Wembley Hilton is open for business, in time for the Olympics, and has already provided over 100 new jobs.
The 361 room hotel also has a 660 capacity ballroom, comfortably the largest in this part of town, and one of few that size away from Park Lane. This is a significant business winner for the hotel, with getting on for a dozen big weddings booked in for 2012 before the doors opened.
The hotel also boasts meeting rooms, a restaurant and bar, a gym, and a sky bar on the roof with excellent views.
It has already created 120 jobs, many for local people who came through Wembley Works – the Wembley City job service – and hotel manager Jack Nicholas expects this number to rise to over 200 as the hotel gears up to full operation.
