Wandsworth tops Housing Design charts

Wandsworth has five schemes on the shortlist for the 2017 Housing Design Awards, the most of any London Borough.

Wandsworth’s schemes on the list of finalists are Burridge Gardens, at Peabody’s St John’s Hill Estate, by architects Hawkins Brown (pictured above); Mapleton Crescent modular housing development degined by Metropolitan Workshop for Pocket Living – set to be the tallest residential tower in Europe built through modular construction;York Road development by Angle Property Ltd, with architect tp bennett; Chadwick Hall, University of Roehampton by Henley Halebrown architects; and London Square’s conversion of former office premises on Upper Richmond Road designed by architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris.

Barnet has four schemes on the shortlist, Brent three, Hammersmith & Fulham two, and Hounslow two.
