LB Brent is to release a new “Vision for Harlesden”.
A vision for the future of Harlesden town centre will shown to the town’s residents and business community. It is embodied in a Harlesden Town Charter, created during a series of meetings and a two-day planning workshop in March, run by Urban Design Skills, using techniques pioneered in America.
In addition to unveiling the charter, the 7 June meeting will discuss the role and governance of Harlesden Town Team and “introduce a few early win projects”.
The charter will continue to be developed by a Town Team of residents and business leaders and used by Brent Council as a guide for planning future development.
The document will be presented at the Salvation Army building, 32 Manor Park Road, Harlesden on 7 June at 6.30pm.
