Veneto House application refused

LB Harrow has refused an application to turn the vacant warehouse into a religious centre.

The Dollis Hill-based Imam Hussein Foundation had applied to change the use of Veneto House in Park Drive from industrial to a community centre. LB Harrow refused the application on the basis of disturbance to local residents (Park Drive is primarily a residential road) and an excessive burden on parking.

They had previously (1998) refused consent for conversion to a ballet studio. See more from the Harrow Observer.
