Uxbridge College looks to redevelop two campuses

The College is planning a £47m redevelopment of the Uxbridge and Hayes campuses.

An OJEU notice has been issued for design and construction services for both sites. In Uxbridge they want flexible and specialist teaching space, a refectory, a reception area, Learning Resource Centre, offices, sports facilities, all weather sports pitches and external works. They estimate  7,344 sqm of demolition, 11,480sq m ofnew build, and 1,950 sqm of refurbishment.

At the Hayes Campus, they specify similar facilities, with a smaller 1,800 sqm of demolition, 3,120 sqm of new build, and 4,500 sqm of refurbishment. 

Work would start next year and aim to complete in 2012.
