UWL no longer “at risk”

The University of West London, formerly Thames Valley University, has been taken off HEFC’s “at risk” list.

The university has been on the Higher Education Funding Council’s “at risk” register – indicating it was considered “at higher risk” of financial failure – for 12 years.

Peter John, West London’s vice-chancellor, told Times Higher Education: “This is a wonderful achievement for the university and it is testament to the hard work and dedication of my colleagues over the last four years. I am very proud of everyone here at the University of West London.”
