The University of West London (UWL) has achieved the biggest rise of any UK higher education institution in The Complete University Guide 2018,with Imperial College and Brunel University London also figuring strongly.
UWL climbed 26 places to 80th position in the independent national league table of universities released today, the biggest climb of any in the league table. Imperial College ranked 5th, down one place, but behind only Oxford, Cambridge, the LSE and St Andrews.
Brunel University London ranked 47th, having moved up five places in to the top 50.
UWL Vice-Chancellor, Professor Peter John, said: “Recording the biggest rise in the UK in The Complete University Guide 2018 rankings is another excellent achievement for the University. We already have the best graduate employment in London and we are in the top quartile for salaries of graduates entering full-time employment in the UK. This latest outstanding performance confirms the excellent progress the University of West London continues to make in delivering high quality, career focused education programmes which transform the lives of our students.”
The University of West London has recently invested more than £120m across three campus sites located in Ealing, Brentford and Reading.
