UWL and SEGA get together

UWL is working with SEGA to help its students have a better understanding of modern software development work practice.

The project aims to help students be ‘fit for purpose’ when it comes to working for a global brand.

Information Technology Management for Business students worked with SEGA executives on commercial projects which required the use of agile and scrum techniques which improve a team’s ability to respond quickly to changes, to consumer requirements and adapt to changing technologies in market conditions.

The Course Leader of the bachelor’s degree in ITMB, Liz Sokolowski, said, ‘This was a great opportunity for students to really learn about today’s software industry.”
