UWL adopts new student village

The University of West London is to offer students accommodation in a Notting Hill Housing development in Ealing, between its two main campuses.

The University has acquired the new flats positioned between the University’s Ealing site and Brentford site.

The student village is currently undergoing staged renovation work and the first phase will be ready to house students from 15 September 2013. All phases of the project are scheduled to be complete by January 2014.

Professor Kathryn Mitchell, University of West London Deputy Vice-Chancellor, commented: ‘The student village will provide our students with everything they need for a successful University experience, connecting them to the University, Ealing and the rest of London during their studies. The new accommodation, alongside the University’s Future Campus project, is part of our long-term vision to continually improve the learning experience and social spaces at the University of West London.’
