UGLI progress

St James Homes are progressing their consented plans for a 527 home development on the site of the UGLI Campus in White City.

The development will produce 342 market homes, and 185 key worker homes as well as commercial space on the site of Centre House, at 56 Wood Lane. Works are anticipated to start onsite by Autumn 2021 and to complete by 2024.

The Pilbrow & Partners designed scheme scheme involves the demolition of all the buildings on the site, and the construction of two buildings, one up to 22 storeys, and one up to 32 storeys. As well as the homes there will be 1,350 sqm of flexible commercial, community and leisure floorspace.

Boyer Planning handled planning for St James.

The UGLI Campus was a successful long term meanwhile use of the former BBC office buildings as flexible and serviced offices for the creative industries.
