Travelodge offers bounty for hotel targets

Travelodge1main Travelodge is offering a £500-a-room bounty for anyone who can identify new sites for hotels in West London.

The company has a long list of target locations, including Shepherd's Bush, Hayes and Harrow. They have already done a deal on a site in Hounslow to provide a 121 bed hotel under this bounty scheme.

Tony O'Brien of Travelodge told the Harrow Observer locations need to be near populated areas, businesses, or retail centres, universities, hospitals, or be ideal for tourists, and must lie within five minutes of a mainline rail or Tube station.

Last year, Travelodge's new Uxbridge location (pictured) hit the news for its innovative and rapid construction using containers.
