Place West London’s half day conference focussed on the future of Heathrow is on May 12, giving you the opportunity to hear about all three options still open – expansion, extension, and closure.
The conference will examine the potential economic impact of the three options, while also taking a look at the surface transport impact, the impacts on skills and education, and the views of the business community.
Heathrow Airport will set out the expansion option, with Nigel Milton talking about the options the Airport have put to the Davies Commission.
Captain Jock Lowe will discuss the Heathrow Hub option – extending the runways to allow more flights.
And Richard De Cani of Transport for London will outline the possible redevelopment of a closed Heathrow site into homes, employment space, education space and more.
