Tesco is reported to be readying a new planning application for a store in Harefield. The Uxbridge Gaxette reports the grocer to be intending to submit plans for the former petrol station next to the Kings Arms pub before Christmas.
The Gazetter says that Tesco lodged an application to trim a protected tree to allow delivery lorries access to the site. One of the main reasons for the previous planning refusal at enquiry was the traffic impact.
Last month, Tesco finally won permission to build an Express store and seven flats in nearby Croxley Green, just outside LB Hillingdon.
