Tesco scales down Fulham plans

tesco site fulham high stTesco have submitted plans for a redevelopment on Fulham High Street, but they are for a smaller site than previously intended.

Tesco, through Spenhill, have submitted Collado Collins designed plans for 58 new homes amd five retail units, including a convenience format Tesco, for the site at 84-90b Fulham High Street, just around the corner from Sainsbury’s Fulham Wharf site.

The plans involve the demolition of the existing buildings , with the retention of the gate houses, and the redevelopment of the site to provide a 424 sqm retail convenience store, 4 further units on the ground floor, 42 flats above these in a seven storey block and 6 flats in a second four storey block, with 10 houses to the rear.

The site no longer includes the All Saints Church Hall.
