Tesco has been granted permission for its new store at the Master Brewer site in Hillingdon.
The plans will produce a new 3500 sqm supermarket, 125 new homes and a 70 bed hotel on the site on Freezeland Way. The approval follows a previous refusal of a taller scheme.
Morrisons have been seeking to build a store on the opposite side of Long Lane, plans for which were also refused last year.
Tesco say the store will bring 200 new jobs, and provide a five hectare public green space.
