Tesco appeal in Harefield

Tesco have appealed the planning decision on their proposed Harefield store.

The original planning application for a store on the former petrol station site behind the Kings Arms, on Rickmansworth Road, Harefield was refused on March 20 on the grounds that there is insufficient room at the site for delivery vehicles to manoeuvre.

An appeal date has been set with an enquiry set to take place at the Civic Centre, Uxbridge on the 19 and 20 May at 10 am. There is likely to be significant local opposition – the Tenants and Residents Association have already expressed a desire to voice their opposition to the appeal.
