The site earmarked as a construction site for the Super Sewer – Thames Water’s Tideway Tunnel – is close to being sold to the utility company, it is reported.
Estates Gazette says that Thames Water are close to buying the site from CBRE Golbal Investors, who had secured permission for a 475 home development on the Carnwath Road site.
LB Hammersmith & Fulham have resisted the site being used for construction for the mega-tunnel, but the plans were recently approved.
