Studio School to open in Hayes

A school that combines studies with work placements is due to open in Hayes next September, one of 12 nationally.

Parkside Studio College will share Rosedale College’s campus in Wood End Green Road, Hayes, and accept up to 300 14 to 19-year-olds who will spend up to two days a week working with local firms.

It will specialise in business and enterprise and offer engineering, construction, hospitality, hair and beauty, creative media and health and social care courses.

The college is part of the Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust, established when Rosedale College and Hewens College converted to academies and became partners in September.
