“Studio School” for Fulham

Henry Compton School in Fulham has submitted an application to become a “studio school” – delivering graduates with business experience.

If approved, the school will run a new curriculum designed for 14-19 year-olds, reports the Fulham Chronicle. It is based on enterprise projects and real work rather than traditional classes. The school would form close links with employers, with opening hours aligned with adult working hours.

Classes would specialise in engineering and construction, as well as providing opportunities linked to the performing arts.
