The £25m, 20 storey scheme, designed by CZWG for developer Victoria Hall, was originally refused permission after being recommended for approval by officers. Members were unwilling to pass the scheme. Now a public inquiry has recersed that decision, with the inspector describing it as an “attractive landmark” for the area.
The 0.32ha site is located on the edge of the Wembley regeneration area, close to the entrance to Wembley Park station.
Building reports construction is now set to begin in autumn 2009, and complete in 2011.
