StoryFutures has announced the “Re-fuse: The Heathrow/Costa Sustainability Challenge”. They are offering four businesses in their area, which includes much of West London, as well as parts of the Thames Valley, the opportunity to be part of an innovation process to explore how new storytelling techniques and technologies may positively impact on passenger experiences at the airport and improve recycling performance. The aim is to encourage visitors to the Costa coffee shop in Terminal 5 to recycle take-away cups into the right bins.
They expect to award a budget of around £60k and there will be additional funding-in-kind on offer from their technical and R&D support team.
The “StoryLab” innovation challenge format does not involve a competitive pitching process, and includes working with the end client face-to-face throughout the process so bidders can work productively and time-effectively to really get to grips with the brief.
Four selected SMEs will get invited to come along to two events as part of the challenge process in May 2019.
One will secure a commission with a cash value of £60k which can rise to nearly £90k with the in-kind support.
Ayoe interested should visit Heathrow Challenge Final Brief by midnight, 7 April 2019.
