Stanhope progresses Gateway

Stanhope has agreed a lease on a TfL owned petrol station site in White City to allow it to deliver part of its TV Centre project – the Gateway.

Stanhope are taking the 0.25 acre site on Wood Lane on a three year lease, and have commissioned artists to create an installation there to improve the environment around the TV Centre development.

It allows them to take control of the 17 acre Gateway site, and with Mitsui Fudosan UK and AIMCo, to redevelop three buildings to be called Gateway West, Gateway Central and Gateway East, which together will provide around 1,000,000 sq ft of office space, hopefully housing around 8,000 jobs. Plans were submitted towards the end of 2016.
