Stanhope buys back in to Chiswick Park

Stanhope has bought Building 7 at Chiswick Park, the business park it originally developed.
They have acquired the building from Blackstone, who have now ended their association with the park, for £312m. Blackstone bought Chiswick Park from The Chiswick Park Unit Trust for £480m in 2011. They sold most of the buildings to China Investment Corporation (CIC) for £780m in 2014. Stanhope is buying the building with backing from private clients as part of a plan to build up its asset management platform.
The 334,000 sq ft Rogers Stirk Harbour designed building is occupied by Pernod Ricard, China Global TV Network, HH Saudi Research, Danone, Venture X, Fox News, and others. There is 5000 sq ft currently unoccupied.
