St James approved in Brentford

St James Homes plans for a 70 home development in Brentford have been approved.

The detailed plans, designed by Assael Architecture for the site of the former Thames Water Land on Kew Bridge Road, involve the demolition of all unlisted buildings and structures on the site, restoration and alteration of the filter bed tanks and the construction of three new buildings to provide 70 new homes and just over 500 sqm of commercial floorspace.

The plans also include the refurbishment of the listed Gatehouse and the provision of a linear park.

The scheme has been designed to meet with Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

Barton Willmore Partnership handled planning.
