St George launches Alperton development

St George have launched the first phase of their Grand Union development, on the Alperton canalside.

The 22 acre former industrial site near the Ace CafĂ© will ultimately provide 3030 homes. The first phase – Unison House, will complete in 2022, beginning the process of opening up public access to the canal in Alperton for the first time in decades.

The Grand Union development will also contain a community hub, co-working space, a bowling alley and landscaped gardens. There will be a nursery and healthcare centre, plus a gym with discounted rates for residents.

The co-working space, The Generator, will aim to house light industrial businesses, distribution firms, creative studios and tech start-ups
The six-level unit will be across the canal from the homes. A recording studio has already signed for space.
