Council spending power will fall across West London with the new Local Government Settlement, except in Barnet, according to government figures.
Councils will get around 30% less grant next year, but overall spending power takes in to account other sources of revenue. The numbers suggest Hammersmith & Fulham will be hardest hit, with a fall in spending power of -4.7%.
Brent is a close second on -4.5%, with Wandsworth (-3.2%), Ealing (-2.5%), Hounslow (-1.9%), Harrow (-1.7%) and Hillingdon (-1.1%) also in negative territory.
Barnet’s overall spending power will increase by 0.1%.
