Creative workspace pioneer Spaces has opened its first business hub in Uxbridge, occupying 1,800 sq meters in The Charter Building.
In an opening event held on 8 February, the Uxbridge Spaces team and clients celebrated the launch of the newest addition to the town’s workspace community. Amsterdam-born Spaces provides creative working environments which are designed to integrate lifestyle into work.
The new hub offers private offices and meeting rooms, as well as a large co-working space.
The opening is the latest step in Spaces’ UK expansion. Founded in 2006, the company has already opened several hubs across the UK, in locations including London, Liverpool, Brighton and Gerrards Cross and is due to open in several other locations in the coming months. Internationally, the company has a presence in more than 25 countries including the Netherlands, USA, Australia, Japan, Singapore and Mexico.
Richard Morris, UK CEO, Spaces, comments: “Spaces gives members the opportunity to work alongside and meet fellow professionals who believe in the power of a collaborative approach to ideas generation and business growth.
“With its excellent transport links and thriving business scene, Uxbridge is a highly-sought after business address and, as such, is the perfect fit for our new location.”
Chris Hiatt, Landid Director, and developer of The Charter Building, said: “The Charter Building brings a completely new kind of design-led contemporary office space to Uxbridge. The pioneering workspace has been designed to meet the demands of modern businesses and we are very excited to see occupiers such as Spaces moving in and bringing the building to life, with more to come in the coming months.”
