The last obstacle to the plans to redevelop the 90 acre Southall Gasworks site has been cleared as a decision notice is issued on the scheme.
The massive regeneration plan is set to deliver 4,000 homes on the disused gasworks site, presently larely used for airport parking. The plans were first refused by LB Ealing, then called in and approved by London Mayor Boris Johnson. Now the section 106 and reserved matters have been cleared and the scheme can move on.
