South Street set for approval in Hammersmith

South Street Asset Management's plans for a 234 unit student accomodation scheme have been recommended for approval by LB Hammersmith & Fulham officers.

The plans are for the Ravenscourt House site in Paddenswick Road. THe present building, used as a homless hostel, would be demolished and replaced by four new blocks containing the stident accomodation, plus ancillary facilities like a gym, and cafe.

Since having earlier plans refused last year, South Street have scaled down the height of the blocks, and altered the materials in the facades to fit in better with the surrounding buildings.
