South Acton regen continues

The huge South Acton Estate regeneration programme continues to make progress with a further planning application submitted on Phase 2.

This application, submitted by LB Ealing on behalf of Catalyst and Wilmott Dixon relates to phase 2, and the demolition of Bollo, Maugham, Lawrence, Reade, Shaw, Hardy and Verne Courts, Blackmore and Kipling Towers, the Working Men”s Club, garages and storage units east side of Shaw Court. They will be replaced by 756 new homes, along with retail, office, retail catering, live/work units, and community & leisure space.

Phase one is now complete. The further regeneration of the estate will be undertaken by Countryside and London & Quadrant, who are expected to sumit a planning application in the summer.
