Ealing Council has granted outline permission for the regeneration of the South Acton estate.
London & Quadrant and Countryside Properties have had their plans approved, with initial detail being for 106 homes, but the ultimate target for “Acton Gardens” being 2,500 homes. Of the affordable units – 50% of the total – 75 per cent will be for rent, and 25 per cent for shared ownership.
Phase one is on site, with the first homes due to complete in January. The detailed planning consent means work can go ahead on phase two.
