A report is going to Brent Council’s cabinet recommending that they go to tender for partners for phase three of the regeneration of the South Kilburn Estate.
The report recommends that consultation begins with tenants in Hereford House and Exeter Court on the acquisition of the secure tenancies in the blocks with a view to their redevelopment.
The report, to be discussed this week, also recommends inviting tenders for a full design team for the redevelopment of Peel Precinct, 97 to 112 Carlton House and 8 to 14 Neville Close (together defined as ‘the Peel Site’), and the compulsory purchase of the 36 affordable homes which are currently occupied by secure tenants on the site.
The council aims to dispose of the Peel Site for redevelopment.
