SEGRO has commenced speculative construction of a new 24,637 sq ft development at Tudor Gate in Park Royal, London.
This phase is the principal element of the 34,432 sq ft, high-specification warehouse development at Tudor Gate off Abbey Road.
SEGRO say the new accommodation will offer modern, efficient warehouse and industrial accommodation, suitable for various uses, from distribution to self-storage or food production.
Ken Butcher, Leasing Manager at SEGRO, said, “This new development at Tudor Gate represents an important investment in the Park Royal area of London, one of SEGRO’s core markets. This speculative development follows the successful 9,795 sq ft pre-let which we announced for Warmup at Tudor Gate, in June this year.
“When completed in March 2013, this stand-alone building will offer a very high quality product to prospective customers. It will be prominent, secure, and includes energy saving initiatives such as LED lighting and using energy from renewable sources, including a photovoltaic system.
“Tudor Gate is a great example of how SEGRO develops high quality buildings for both existing and new customers in our core markets.”
Practical completion of the development is expected in March 2013. JLL, Doherty Baines and CBRE have been appointed to market the property.
